Sunshine and the lure of Punt Club teas brought out some fresh faces to the start line for the short race programme at the Punt Club, plus some of the usual culprits. Sam Briggs and Chris Haslam in their 29er was an unusual site for Barton Broad as was Simon Goodman crewed by Will Pank in Mazarine Blue leading the second race! The fleet of Yare and Bures had some fine contests in the afternoon, both for the front and at the back. White Wave with Alan and Amanda Davis broke their duck by not coming last and with some interesting wind shifts making decisions difficult with the wind swinging through 180 degress at times life was not easy. But as the series of races progressed through the afternoon the wind began to increase and race 4 conducted in a steady force 3  to 4.  Although the Yare and Bures dominated the fleet it was good to see Tom Scott in his Solo, and a couple of Wayfarers.
