Keelboat Open and Yeomen/ Kinsman Nationals

We look forward to welcoming you to our Keelboat Open on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th June 2024. 

 As part of this Open Event we are delighted to be hosting the Yeoman and Kinsman Broadland National Championships.

Please note that for 2024 only there will be 5 races for al classes.

Programme as follows:

Briefing Saturday at 12pm, races at 12.30, 2pm and 4pm

Races Sunday 10.00am and 12pm

Open to all Yare and Bure One Design,Yeoman Kinsman and other keel boats

Entrants are sailing for the following Cups

Consortium Cup

Whelpton Trophy for the highest place NPC Member

NPC Mixed Keels Open Trophy

NPC Yeomen Open Trophy (if more than 5 boats)

Chairman Trophy            National Championship 2nd Place

Starts at Thurne Mouth/Oby Dyke, sailing up to near Womack, down to Upton and up towards St Benets.

Briefing at 12 noon and race starts at 12.30pm

Racing for the Athene Cup (handicap) and the Blackbird Trophy (first over the water).

Cost £10 with free tea and cakes – Punt Club style.
